Definition
----------

.. phpmethod:: MongoDB\\Collection::dropIndexes($options)
   
   Drops **all indexes** in the collection.

      function dropIndexes(array $options = []): array|object

   ``dropIndexes()`` supports the following parameters:

   The ``$options`` parameter supports the following option:

Output
------

Returns the command result document as an array or object, depending
on the ``typeMap`` specification.

Example
-------

The following drops all indexes from the ``restaurants`` collection in
the ``example`` database:

   $database = new MongoDB\Client;

   $collection = $database->selectCollection('example','restaurants');

   $response = $collection->dropIndexes();

   var_dump($response);

                
The output would resemble the following::
